Book Now with Dr. Anh Linh Nguyen, ND

Are you suffering from food sensitivity or food intolerance? If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you may likely be sensitive to some foods present in your diet:

  •  Bloating
  • Brain Fog
  • Itchy skin problemssecond
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
  • Gastritis
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Migraine and Headache
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Weight Gain or weight loss

According to The British Allergy Foundation, it is estimated that up to 45% of the population in the US and Europe suffer from food intolerance. Consider taking this test if you are suffering from Psoriasis, Hashimoto’s disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Irritable Bowel Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, or other issues caused by a dysfunctional immune system.

I recommend this test if you are experiencing any of the conditions listed above. In fact, if you have noticed that some of these symptoms are aggravated when eating specific food items, you have a food intolerance. The goal is to eliminate the foods that cause inflammation and treat the gut. Most often, dysbiosis or microbial imbalance is associated with leaky gut syndrome, GI disturbance, and autoimmune disorder. By healing the gut, there is a greater chance to improve these conditions. A typical treatment plan includes a daily intake of probiotics, natural anti-inflammatory herbs, and a complete multivitamin and mineral supplement.

You will need to come for at least one initial visit and one regular follow up visit. A detailed treatment plan including supplementation and diet change will be provided on your follow up visit to help you manage your food sensitivities. Your extended health plan can cover your consultations. Both consultations and lab tests are considered medical expenses and are eligible for tax credits at the end of the year.

Dynacare Medical Laboratories perform these tests. To make things easier, a lab is located in the same building on the 2nd floor. There is no need for neither fasting nor diet change prior to the test. As your health-care provider, I will issue the requisition. Results are available within one week.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
